wincing the day away

i printed up 6 new pictures to put up in my cube a week ago. they are arranged on my wall in two columns and are all in black and white. mostly because i hoped they would look cool that way. partly because colored pictures haven't been looking too hot when i print them out. i think my monitor and printer need to be calibrated better.

Row 1, Column 1: Angelia playing in some climbing thing in Dolphin Park's playground. you just see her head and her right leg. the contraption she's in is yellow and you can catch the sand in the background. of course, it's black and white so it's not a great choice cause the lights are blending in quite a bit. color would be much better.

Row 1, Column 2: Rianna, G, and Millicent sitting on the couch together. Millicent is laughing pretty hard. G is smiling at the camera and she sits on Millicent's lap. Rianna is mischievously smiling and she looks away from the camera. Her had hands are clasped together, shoulders up like a shrugging motion. The "moment" captured is Rianna had just stuck her finger up Millicent's armpit. I like this picture because this is the first time Rianna's met Millicent. Upon meeting her, she stuck her finger up her armpit, complimented her boobs, and grabbed her ass because she had shiny stuff sewn onto them.

Row 2, Column 1: G blowing bubbles and smiling as they float away. This is my favorite picture of the bunch. It just seems like a very candid shot of an innocent moment.

Row 2, Column 2: Rianna sitting on her dad's lap before she blows out the candle for her 3rd birthday. the candle is in focus, rianna and her dad a little out of focus. i like it simply because they both look happy. a little candid too.

Row 3, Column 1: Millicent blowing bubbles. her eyes are closed cause i guess shes' really focused on blowing them bubbles. i fought very hard not to make a dirty comment here.

Row 3, Column 2: my parents laughing very hard. they're dorks. it's around the time of my mom's birthday last september. my dad gave her a painting of this italian landscape. maybe it's of venice. regardless i took a picture of them with the painting in the background. it's like they're there! okay not really. but my parents couldn't stop laughing. like i said, they're dorks.

....

these are just a few of the pictures i have on my wall. i like looking at them from time to time because they calm me down when things are moving too fast. either at work or just life in general. that's all.
